Meshed Network of Mobile and Stationary Sensors

Every wearable, smart phone, modern automobile, laptop or tablet is constantly trying to connect to other devices.  We detect these device “heartbeats.” Each device has one or more unique identifiers and we detect them as a device type, by location and by date and time.

The range to detect these beaconing devices is much longer than the device’s ability to communicate. NGT detects and stores this data. As the NGT app detects all the devices within its range and automatically sends those data packets to the backend, a user can “tag” devices of interest.   This means that if a user tagged a friend’s phone, the NGT app can be configured to send an alert text or email to the user if that phone were to enter the NGT app’s detection range. Conversely, the NGT app can perform the same function if the tagged device leaves the NGT app’s detection range.

Our NGT sensors can be rapidly installed in buildings or in any area that is covered by a Wide Area Network or just a small hotspot. Sensor location data is uploaded into the NGT backend once it is brought online with the NGT phone app. The sensors are durable and can withstand most environmental extremes. Even if the sensor were significantly damaged a user can swap parts and bring it back online very quickly.
